Thank you for choosing Enon Veterinary Hospital to care for and treat your companion. Enon Veterinary Hospital is a full-service hospital for most surgical and medical issues as well as preventive medicine.

Enon Veterinary Hospital was established in 1974 by Dr. Richard J. "Doc" Schumann. Dr. Diane Stoll joined the practice approximately 20 years ago and currently practices as a part-time veterinarian. Her interests include medicine cases. She is also a cardiology nurse at Miami Valley Hospital. Dr. Jeff Schumann joined the practice in July of 2007 after completing a small animal internship at MedVet. He has a particular interest in allergy and orthopedics. Dr. Jeff Schumann holds a M.S. degree with publications regarding house dust mite allergies in dogs.

Your pet's health is our number one priority. We are committed to practicing the highest quality medicine through a multi-doctor system. This includes all of the doctors at Enon Veterinary Hospital and the specialists at MedVet. We are committed to communicating to our clients all issues regarding their pet's health to foster the best treatment and preventive medicine for the pet and client.

ENON Vet News 2010

The month of February has traditionally been designated as dental month.  Many will remember that this has been the month that we typically learn about dental hygiene in health class.  The veterinary community has chosen this month as well to promote dental health of our pet animals.

If you are like most people we do not brush out pets teeth on a daily basis, thus when a dental is performed on our pets it is done as a treatment.  This means that dental disease is present.  As humans we typically get our teeth cleaned as a prophylactic measure.
